Jon has always been the kind of person who looks at something and immediately thinks, “How can this be better?” From a young age he’s been building, modifying, and tinkering—whether it was tools in the garage, gear in the backyard, or small projects that slowly turned into big ones. His truck quickly became the center of that mindset: a daily driver, a weekend escape vehicle, a workhorse, and a rolling test bench for new ideas. Every bracket, panel, and system he designs is grounded in real use, not just theory.

What really drives him is solving everyday problems in a way that feels clean, clever, and overbuilt in all the right places. Jon loves designing practical solutions that don’t just look good on paper, but actually make hauling, organizing, and using a truck easier and more enjoyable. FlexDeck grew out of countless hours of sketching, testing, and refining ways to get more out of a truck bed without sacrificing flexibility or strength. For him, this isn’t just about making a product—it’s about creating tools that unlock more adventures, more capability, and more confidence for people who use their trucks for everything.
